Pamela Kremenak

Pamela Marie Kremenak 78, of Traer, went to be with her Savior on November 27, 2019, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo. Pamela was born on May 24, 1941, the daughter of George F. and Dorothy (Uridil) Kremenak.  Living her childhood years in Clutier, she graduated from Clutier High School in 1958.  She continued her education at what is now the University of Northern Iowa and received her B.A. in elementary education in 1962.  Pamela taught 5th grade for 5 years in Parkersburg and 8 years in Grundy Center.  She returned home to help her parents and worked as a secretary at the North Tama-Clutier attendance center.  After being visually impaired in 1985 due to a brain tumor, she volunteered in community activities.  Pamela is remembered for the many hours she spent tying quilts for her church and Return the Favor.  She will be remembered as the friend who always had time to listen.  Pamela is survived by her sister, Patricia Ross and brother, Benjy Kremenak.  Please direct memorials to Ripley United Church of Christ in Traer or the donor’s favorite charity.   A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
